Why do I live in Wisconsin again??

Today the high was 44. It is currently 10. But with the wind chill, it feels like -10. They are predicting it to get as low as 1 overnight with a wind chill of -21 and only up to 9 with a wind chill of -7 by tomorrow night. On the bright side, a lot of snow melted, on the not bright side. The ground is frozen solid and there are puddles of ice everywhere....

Ew.

I guess we stay where family is. I don't really like big cities, but - we've been here long before this city was big, and - One Doesn't Move Away From Family. At least, not in mine.

Was in New Jersey one Christmas when it didn't get above 0 the whole time we were there. I had on four layers of clothing, plus a wool coat, and was still freezing. I can relate. I hate that.

It did snow here last week tho'! Which it never, ever does - much less stick! Shocking! What a lot of fun!

Ah, yes, the lovely land of Wisconsin.

...Don't worry. It's about the same in Illinois.
